When cleaning the Uccello Kettle, always disconnect it from the power outlet. Never immerse the Uccello Kettle or cord in water. Do not use harsh chemicals when cleaning the Uccello Kettle.

Cleaning the cradle:

You can easily wipe and clean the outside of the cradle with a mild detergent and a damp cloth.

Cleaning the kettle vessel:

The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth.

Cleaning the filter:

When cleaning the stainless-steel filter, please remember that it can be easily removed. You can clean your filter with a mild detergent and damp cloth or by using a white vinegar bath and rinse clean.

Removal of limescale:

Mineral deposits in tap water (such as limescale) may cause the Uccello Kettle interior to discolour. To remove the build up, you can use a liquid descaler – a simple to use, non-toxic cleaner.

Alternatively:

  1. Fill your Uccello Kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water. Allow it to stand overnight. Do not boil.
  2. Empty the vinegar/water solution from the kettle, any stain remaining inside can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
  3. Fill the kettle with clean water, boil the kettle and discard the water.
  4. You Uccello Kettle is ready to use.
